Gardill, J. Christopher

J. Christopher Gardill is a member of the firm and focuses his practice on banking law, secured transactions law and commercial law. He has been awarded a CV Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating.

Chris received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Marietta College in 1998. He earned his law degree from West Virginia University in 2002. While at West Virginia, Chris was a member of the West Virginia Law Review and served as Senior Managing Editor in 2001-2002. Chris also earned a Master?s Degree in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2003.

Chris is admitted to practice in the State of West Virginia and before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the West Virginia Bar Association, the Ohio County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers' Section of the West Virginia State Bar. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors of several area nonprofit organizations, including OVConnect, Inc., an Ohio Valley young professionals' group, Appalachian Outreach, Inc., a Glen Dale based outreach organization, and the King's Daughters Childcare Center, Inc., a daycare and pre-school organization in Wheeling.

Chris resides in Wheeling with his wife, Jodie, and their three children, Kaleb, Brenna and Darcie. Avid dog lovers, the Gardills share their home with their Airedale Terrier, Phin.
